Event website
Setting up your event in Conference Manager, you decide whether you want to make a clean presentation site or a site for online registration. Either way, the website more or less creates itself, with complete enrollment process based on the information you have entered. If you have made an agenda, the will be included, if you have created specific options, participants will be able to choose them, etc.
You will be guided through the adjustment of color and content, so the website adapts to your needs.
You decide the order of your menu and you can also choose to have published lists of who is inviteted og is registered to the event. As the administrator of the event, you are in control. You select if all must appear on the list, or you may choose to provide participants with veto power, so that they themselves must specify whether they want to appear when they sign up. Does the participant choose not to appear, they will still appear in the number of subscribers, which is published together with the list. As a standard set-up, both first and last name of the participant will appear in the list, but as the event administrator, you can choose among all of the event created fields to be published. Except for the email address which will never be published.
You can also allow participants to upload a profile picture of themselves, and also let them link to their social networking profiles like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Should participants want to, they can also make a more complete description of themselves and their work, should you activate this field for them. Directories can public or "visible only to registered and invited". You can also choose to let only some categories of participants be presented so that the special VIP groups can be omitted from the list.
